We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced salesperson to lead our next wave of growth. As an early-stage, fast-growing company, this position involves a high degree of impact and agency and reports directly to C-Suite.

A Day in the Life

  • Network across the fintech ecosystem to find relevant Verdata partnership opportunities.
  • Spearhead critical discovery and new business conversations with prospective clients. 
  • Secure new business for the company by acquiring new clients or by expanding existing client relationships.
  • Gather market feedback and collaborate with product and analytic teams to help shape future enhancements and product roadmap.
  • Liaise with company leadership to determine and build marketing materials to support business development efforts.
  • Address partner questions and ensure partner satisfaction in ongoing renewal revenue. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for occasional conferences and client meetings.

What you'll need to rock

Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales with at least 2 years with SaaS (software as a service) or DaaS (data as service) in fintech
  • Strong verbal presence and excellent written abilities
  • Skilled in understanding a prospective company’s needs, asking thoughtful questions, and matching solutions with business challenges
  • Goal-oriented and proven track record of success in sales
  • Ability to create deep relationships with clients through account management
  • Familiarity using CRMs in daily activity
Recommended:
  • Ideally has experience with solution-based sales with data, calculating ROI on a data product, translating data insights into business value
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with internal analyst and/or other subject matter support representatives
